Women are not the same as men, we’re different, but what we bring to leadership is EQUALLY valuable.

During lockdown, I adapted Lift & be Uplifted Professional Development Workshops for virtual presentation.
Like so many of us, I was cut off from friends and family, and truly grew to appreciate and deeply long for the one thing I missed most, the value in connection with my family over shared cups of tea.
Tea and hospitality are the foundation of my Persian culture. Everywhere I travelled throughout the country of Iran, every clothing shop, home, establishment, bank, jewelry store-everywhere, invited us to sit and share a glass of tea. When people go to the beach or picnics (for Persian’s picnicking has been raised to an art form) a small propane tank with a burner is always close by to “build tea.”
To add a fun, creative twist to the virtual presentation of Lift & be Uplifted Professional Development Workshops, participants bring their favorite tea in their own unique cup to enjoy together. I created EqualiTEA, to create a deeper sense of connection within LIFT & be Uplifted workshops during social distancing.
SINCE INCEPTION...
To date, thousands of young women have been positively impacted by my initiative. Provided with knowledge, skills, and inspiration to overcome barriers to success, solve problems, build their network, and take their lives and careers to the next level.
